Morii wall art
Our tryst with wall arts began through a fateful encounter with Mr.Nishil Shah, ( Principal Architect, Studio Hasta ). It was this interaction that sparked our interest and made us enter this world of wall arts. Opened up a door of infinite possibilities.
Today so many of our pieces have found loving and appreciative homes with our clients and enthusiasts. It gives us immense joy to see each of our unique creations light up the lives of people inhabiting these spaces. These pieces of fabric, thoughtfully and skillfully put together from the corners of India, are now an integral part of our clients’ everyday life.
What better way to add warmth and value to your homes, than through these contemplative creations of craft!
Aranya
The chirrupings of a bird is heard, ‘cuhooing’ from a distance. A misty aura all around. An ethereal feeling fills her heart. It’s the break of dawn calling for a break from the concrete - concrete jungle. A trail is waiting to be walked upon, again. What is this nostalgic feeling? It is time for homecoming.
Morii’s style of embroidery
In the hot summer of 2019, we went to Kutch to find embroidery artisans to work with. Upon somebody’s suggestion we went to this institute in Bhujodi village of Kutch- Dena RSETI (Rural Self Employment and Training Institute)
FOREST COLLECTION
Our first collection 'Forest' imitates the essence of woods and the song that nature sings. The swift winds blowing amidst trees, the calming streams, play of light and shadow and the unsaid harmony in which it all co-exists. Each element having its own rhythm and feel but when together creates an unforgettable persona.

Sujni
Sujni, The Art of Hand embroidery
Traditionally, sujni is a special quilt made in Bihar by recycling a number of worn out saris and/or dhotis together in a simple running stitch that gives it a new structure while ornamenting it. The other purpose of stitching old pieces of cloth together was to wrap the newborn; to allow it to be enveloped in a soft embrace, resembling that of its mother.
